脑源性神经营养因子(BDNF)属于分泌蛋白神经营养因子家族。神经营养因子被合成为前神经营养因子(preproneurotrophin )前体,并被进一步转化为促神经营养因子(proneurotrophin),然后转化为神经营养因子。BDNF在发育中的和成熟的大脑中表达。BDNF的影响是通过与TrkB受体和p75NTR受体结合进行调节。BDNF促进的下游途径包括PI3K、MAPK 和 JAK/STAT。BDNF最重要的作用是调节突触传递和可塑性、蛋白质合成和局部蛋白质磷酸化。
