一般描述

石榴红素是存在于石榴中的主鞣花单宁(ET)或水解单宁之一。紫花色素的化学结构由没食子酸和鞣花酸通过葡萄糖分子连接而成。它有两种(α和β)异构形式,存在于石榴中。

应用

在抑菌实验中,研究了红褐藻素对两株白念珠菌的抑菌作用。它也被用作一种多酚化合物来探测巨噬细胞和单核细胞的焦亡。

生化/生理作用

安石榴苷具有抗氧化作用。鞣花丹宁和紫金花甲素不能被人体直接吸收。首先,它转化为鞣花酸,鞣花酸被人类结肠菌群进一步转化为生物可利用尿石A衍生物。它诱导活化B细胞核因子卡帕轻链增强剂(NF-κB)信号通路的抑制作用,从而保护癌症、神经炎症、氧化应激和记忆损伤。对金黄色葡萄球菌具有抗菌和抗菌膜活性。
从石榴中分离的强效免疫抑制剂。
