应用
乳清酸(OA)是从头嘧啶生物合成的中间体,可用于研究乳清酸磷酸核糖基转移酶(OPRT)的特异性和动力学,其催化从 5′-磷酸-α-d-核糖 1′-二磷酸(PRPP)到乳清酸(OA)的可逆磷酸核糖转移,形成焦磷酸盐和乳清酸 5′-单磷酸(OMP)。乳清酸用作通过产氨棒杆菌(ATCC 6872)或酿酒酵母等微生物潜在的商业生物生产尿苷 5′-单磷酸(UMP)的原料。乳清酸可用于研究 AMPK/SREBP-1 依赖性细胞信号传导途径,以及研究诱导肝脏脂肪生成的转录调节机制。
