一般描述
中性粒细胞弹性蛋白酶（NE、EC 3.4.21.37、白细胞弹性蛋白酶、ELANE、ELA2、弹性蛋白酶2、中性粒细胞弹性蛋白酶或丝氨酸弹性蛋白酶）是一种细胞毒性丝氨酸蛋白酶。 它被储存在嗜中性粒细胞的无色粒状颗粒中，并在细胞刺激后释放。 由病原体，免疫复合物或趋化剂（PMA）引起。 基因ELA2（嗜中性粒细胞弹性蛋白酶）的突变会导致嗜中性白血球减少症，这是一种遗传性疾病，其特征是个体嗜中性白血球数量减少。
应用
- Relationship between airway inflammation and airflow limitation in elderly asthmatics.: This study investigates the connection between airway inflammation and airflow limitation in elderly asthmatic patients. It highlights the role of neutrophil elastase in airway inflammation, which was measured using the Neutrophil Elastase Activity Assay Kit (Fluorometric). The findings suggest that targeting neutrophil elastase activity could help in managing airflow limitation in elderly asthmatics, offering potential therapeutic applications for the assay kit (Soma et al., 2020).

原理
中性粒细胞弹性蛋白酶活性测定试剂盒利用NE的蛋白水解能力裂解合成的底物并释放出荧光团AFC，可以通过荧光很容易地对其进行定量。该测定试剂盒简单、快速，可检测多种样品中低至1 ng的嗜中性粒细胞弹性蛋白酶。
