生化/生理作用

硒 (Se)-(甲基)硒代半胱氨酸是治疗乳腺癌的有效化疗药物。体内 L-Se-甲基硒代半胱氨酸生成甲基硒 的增加 可改变细胞的氧化还原状态并氧化触发细胞凋亡。它还可能抑制大鼠乳腺肿瘤的形成。
硒-(甲基)硒代半胱氨酸是一种化学预防剂,可阻断癌前期乳腺病变的细胞周期进程和增殖,并诱导培养的癌细胞系凋亡。
