一般描述
Eagle最低必需培养基(MEM)是Harry Eagle开发的人工合成细胞培养基。培养基含有较高浓度的氨基酸,因此比较接近哺乳动物培养细胞的蛋白质成分。在含有Hanks′或Earle′s盐的配方中选择补充非必需氨基酸,可扩大该培养基的用途。通过选择性去除钙成分后,该配方可进一步改良为适合悬浮细胞培养。MEM可用于各种细胞的单层培养。
