生化/生理作用

该酶可催化以下反应:草酰乙酸+β-NADH→ L-苹果酸+β-NAD
通过在25℃下用5′-磷酸吡哆醛处理可以可逆地对苹果酸脱氢酶进行灭活。

单位定义

在pH7.5,25℃条件下,一个单位每分钟可将1.0 μmole的草酰乙酸和β-NADH转化为 L苹果酸和β-NAD。
