一般描述
来自Triticum vulgaris的小麦胚芽凝集素(WGA)以同型二聚体形式存在,并且具有多个N-乙酰葡糖胺(GlcNAc)结合位点。它对蛋白质变性剂具有抗性,可用于检测 O-GlcNAc蛋白。 WGA与N-乙醇酰神经氨酸(Neu5Ac)结合可调节促炎免疫应答。
