Biochem/physiol Actions

General description
L1CAM(L1 细胞粘附分子)基因编码免疫球蛋白超基因家族的成员。编码的蛋白质包含一个细胞质胞内结构域、一个单次跨膜区域和一个含有6个免疫球蛋白(Ig)和5个纤连蛋白(Fn)III样基序的胞外结构域。该基因定位于人类染色体Xq28。它包含29个外显子,编码包含19个氨基酸信号肽的1257个氨基酸的蛋白质和包含1238个氨基酸的功能性L1蛋白质。它主要表达于神经系统。
抗-L1CAM 抗体,小鼠单克隆抗体(小鼠 IgG1 同种型)衍生自杂交瘤 UJ127.11,该杂交瘤是由小鼠骨髓瘤细胞(P3-X63-Ag8-653 细胞)与脾脏细胞融合后产生的。L1 细胞粘附分子(L1CAM)蛋白属于细胞粘附分子(CAM)家族。
