一般描述
角蛋白是上皮组织的标志性中间纤维蛋白。在人类中，角蛋白分为I型和II型。约有54个基因编码角蛋白。角蛋白1（KRT1）基因被定位到人类染色体12q13.13上。它是头发、皮肤和指甲的主要成分。
应用
人表皮角蛋白已用于：
- 在固相抗体芯片中作为分析物和交叉反应剂用于测定选择系数
- 作为细胞外基质(ECM)蛋白标准品进行体外蛋白降解分析

生化/生理作用
