生化/生理作用
肌醇（MI）作为一种渗透剂，可协助细胞膜和髓鞘片结构的形成。它是膜磷酸肌醇和磷脂的重要前体。在阿尔茨海默症、脑胶质瘤病和糖尿病等几种脑部疾病中，观察到肌醇（MI）浓度升高。肌醇是膜磷脂的组成部分，糖基磷脂酰肌醇锚可以将糖蛋白结合到细胞膜和磷酸肌醇第二信使。
