一般描述
IgG抗体亚型是免疫系统中含量最高的血清免疫球蛋白。它由B细胞分泌，存在于血液和细胞外液中，可防止细菌、真菌和病毒引起的感染。母体IgG可通过胎盘转移至胎儿，胎盘对新生儿免疫防御感染至关重要。

纯化人IgG已用于：-
- 作为流式细胞仪的封闭抗体
- 作为染色质免疫沉淀试验中的阴性对照

- 作为酶联免疫吸附试验的标准品
生化/生理作用
免疫球蛋白G（IgG）可调节免疫应答，例如吞噬作用，并且还可参与自身免疫疾病的发展。IgG1可调节小鼠的补体结合。
