What is the solublity and solution stability for Product I0908, Insulin?
As Product I0908 - Insulin human meets USP specifications, we only report out the USP testing results. In the USP method, Insulin is dissolved in 0.01N HCl. Insulin is readily soluble (10-20 mg/ml) in weak acids.For Product I2643, recombinant human insulin, we indicate the following storage conditions. A stock solution can be stored frozen at -20°C in single-use aliquots. Freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided. Alternatively, it can be stored for up to 12 months at 2-8°C, if it is sterile filtered through a low protein binding membrane or if it contains a suitable bacteriostat, such as 0.1% thimerosal or sodium azide.
