General description
转铁蛋白受体1或TFRC通过转铁蛋白的内吞作用调节细胞对铁的摄取。血色素沉着症蛋白HFE与转铁蛋白竞争TFRC结合，随后抑制铁向胞内输入。HFE的突变消除了这种竞争，导致TFRC对铁的细胞摄取增加。TFRC抗体对人TFRC具有特异性。
