INHBE (Inhibin, βE) plays an important role in the human reproduction and in endocrine-responsive tumours. Its presence in normal human endometrial tissue have been suggested that INHBE plays a vital role in the endometrial maturation and blastocyst implantation. It has been suggested that INHBE may play a role in the cervical cancer pathogenesis.
