应用
All Prestige Antibodies Powered by Atlas Antibodies are developed and validated by the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) project and as a result, are supported by the most extensive characterization in the industry.
The Human Protein Atlas project can be subdivided into three efforts: Human Tissue Atlas, Cancer Atlas, and Human Cell Atlas. The antibodies that have been generated in support of the Tissue and Cancer Atlas projects have been tested by immunohistochemistry against hundreds of normal and disease tissues and through the recent efforts of the Human Cell Atlas project, many have been characterized by immunofluorescence to map the human proteome not only at the tissue level but now at the subcellular level. These images and the collection of this vast data set can be viewed on the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) site by clicking on the Image Gallery link. We also provide Prestige Antibodies® protocols and other useful information.

生化/生理作用
Trafficking kinesin-binding protein 2 is a protein encoded by the TRAK2 gene in humans and belongs to TRAK family adaptor proteins. It mainly acts as a kinesin adaptor molecule, links to mitochondria to microtubule-based motors and is essential for mobility of axons and dendrites. This protein mainly interacts with dynein/dynactin and abundantly found in dendrites. This protein is important for the development of dendrites. Mitochondrial transport in neurons is regulated by this protein and helps in facilitating trafficking to cell surface.
特点和优势
Prestige Antibodies® are highly characterized and extensively validated antibodies with the added benefit of all available characterization data for each target being accessible via the Human Protein Atlas portal linked just below the product name at the top of this page. The uniqueness and low cross-reactivity of the Prestige Antibodies® to other proteins are due to a thorough selection of antigen regions, affinity purification, and stringent selection. Prestige antigen controls are available for every corresponding Prestige Antibody and can be found in the linkage section.
Every Prestige Antibody is tested in the following ways:
Every Prestige Antibody is tested in the following ways:
- IHC tissue array of 44 normal human tissues and 20 of the most common cancer type tissues.
- Protein array of 364 human recombinant protein fragments.

Gamma-aminobutyric acid, type A (GABAA) receptor interacting factor-1 (GRIF-1) and N-acetylglucosamine transferase interacting protein (OIP) 106 are both members of a newly identified coiled-coil family of proteins. They are kinesin-associated proteins proposed to function as adaptors in the anterograde trafficking

To identify proteins that regulate potassium channel activity and expression, we performed functional screening of mammalian cDNA libraries in yeast that express the mammalian K(+) channel Kir2.1. Growth of Kir2.1-expressing yeast in media with low K(+) concentration is a function

The transport of mitochondria to specific neuronal locations is critical to meet local cellular energy demands and for buffering intracellular calcium. A critical role for kinesin motor proteins in mitochondrial transport in neurons has been demonstrated. Currently however the molecular

Neuronal function requires regulated anterograde and retrograde trafficking of mitochondria along microtubules by using the molecular motors kinesin and dynein. Previous work has established that trafficking kinesin proteins (TRAKs),TRAK1 and TRAK2, are kinesin adaptor proteins that link mitochondria to kinesin
