General description
MYBL1（v-myb禽成髓细胞病病毒致癌基因同源样1）基因定位于人类染色体8q13.1，编码一个转录因子。它是肿瘤蛋白家族Myb的一员。其N端包含DNA结合重复序列，C端包含两个保守区域。它的C-Myb交换激活域包含一个假定的亮氨酸拉链。

Biochem/physiol Actions
MYBL1 （v-myb鸟髓细胞组织增生病毒癌基因同源物样蛋白1）在28%的弥漫型星形细胞瘤II级肿瘤中部分复制。该基因的特征是在儿童低级别胶质瘤（pediatric low-grade glioma）中复发性癌基因截短重排（recurrent oncogenic truncating rearrangement）。一般认为该基因参与普通B细胞和Burkitt淋巴瘤的分化和增殖的控制。 它也可作为CBP（CREB结合蛋白）蛋白的相互作用分子伴侣，其带电序列结合了CBP的CREB （cAMP响应元件结合蛋白）结合结构域。
