一般描述
M-CSF由定位至人类染色体1p13.3上的基因所编码。它是一种糖基化多肽,以同二聚体的形式存在。M-CSF由巨噬细胞、成纤维细胞、淋巴细胞和内皮细胞产生。
生化/生理作用
巨噬细胞CSF (M-CSF)作为一种生长因子,刺激单核/巨噬细胞系细胞的增殖和分化。它还可增强抗体依赖、单核细胞和巨噬细胞介导的细胞毒性。此外,人M-CSF可抑制破骨细胞的骨吸收。它在动脉粥样硬化中也可能发挥关键作用。在骨骼Paget病(PDB)中观察到该基因的过表达。
