应用
人类生长激素已用作培养基补充物,研究人类生长激素对鱼细胞系免疫应答的影响。它也被用作胆道分化培养基(BDM)的补充物,用于分化人胚胎干细胞(hESCs)/人诱导多能干细胞(hiPSCs)衍生的肝母细胞。
生化/生理作用
人类生长激素(HGH)是人类正常生长发育所必需的物质。HGH通过刺激胰岛素样生长因子I的表达来改变多种生理功能,并可增加钙潴留和骨密度。生长激素增加肌肉量,促进脂肪分解,减少肝脏对葡萄糖的摄取。HGH调节异常导致各种生长障碍,如HGH分泌过多导致的巨人症或肢端肥大症。反之,生长激素缺乏导致儿童生长缺陷和成人生长激素缺乏综合征。
