Hybond®N+ is a high sensitivity positively charged nylon membrane for DNA and RNA blotting with nucleic acid binding capacity and high tensile strength.
应用
Hybond®-N+ hybridization membranes are ideal to use with:
- chemiluminescence and chemifluorescence detection systems that are radioactive or nonradioactive
- all membrane arrays with a high density
- applications that need high sensitivity and/or probing
特点和优势
- On both sides, all Hybond®membranes are identical
- Incompatible with alkali blotting and fixation
- To ensure that only the most consistent product reaches the user, production runs are carefully monitored, and the product is thoroughly screened
- Specially designed for life science applications
- In conventional southern blotting, produces excellent sensitivity
- To prevent high background sides, nylon needs to be extensively blocked before being detected with antibodies due to its high protein binding capacity
- Not suitable for western blotting
