一般描述
谷氨酰胺酶是一种酰胺水解酶。它在N端具有催化结构域,而C端延伸具有STAS结构域。
应用
来自大肠杆菌的谷氨酰胺酶已被用于:
- 测定大脑皮层组织提取物中的谷氨酰胺
- 固定在氨基丙基甲硅烷基化控制孔玻璃(CPG)上用于测定谷氨酰胺
- 与体外黑色素瘤细胞、MCF-7和OAW-42细胞一同用于细胞增殖和侵袭性检测。
生化/生理作用
来自大肠杆菌的谷氨酰胺酶与谷氨酰胺类似物阿西维奇一起可调节癌细胞的增殖和侵袭性。通过降低肿瘤负担,细菌谷氨酰胺酶与癌症患者的寿命延长相关。
谷氨酰胺酶可催化谷氨酰胺向谷氨酸的转化。
