Biochem/physiol Actions
甘油激酶催化甘油的tge MgATP依赖性磷酸化以产生sn-甘油-3-磷酸,并且是甘油利用中的限速酶。 它也受果糖-1,6-二磷酸的反馈调节。该基因突变与甘油激酶缺乏症(GKD)有关,GKD主要表现为高甘油三酯血症和低血糖。该酶与甘油-3-磷酸脱氢酶(=G-3-P DH,G3D-301)、甘油-3-磷酸氧化酶(=G-3-P氧化酶,G3O-301,G3O-311,G3O-321)或丙酮酸激酶(PYK-301)和乳酸脱氢酶(LCD-209,LCD-211)、脂蛋白脂肪酶(LPL-311,LPL-314)结合用于临床分析中甘油和甘油三酯的酶促测定。
