一般描述

单克隆抗成纤维细胞表面蛋白(小鼠IgM 同种型)来源于小鼠骨髓瘤细胞和以培养的人胸腺成纤维细胞免疫的BALB/c小鼠脾细胞融合产生的1B10杂交瘤。人成纤维细胞表面蛋白是一种成纤维细胞抗原,主要在人滑膜、包皮和胸腺成纤维细胞表达,在人上皮细胞和淋巴细胞中不存在。

生化/生理作用

单克隆抗成纤维细胞表面蛋白抗体也可用于通过抑制成纤维细胞在培养容器上的附着或是通过在兔补体存在下的细胞毒性作用,从而去除培养的人细胞中的成纤维细胞。另外,除了细胞特性的重要功能外,细胞系的表征对于培养物与组织起源的相关性、细胞所属谱系的鉴定或细胞的前体状态也很重要。成纤维细胞表面蛋白的单克隆抗体可提供强大的工具,用来控制各种人类细胞培养系统中成纤维细胞的生长,例如胸腺上皮(TE)细胞培养物,从而使高度富集的TE细胞群可以生长。

目标描述

这种成纤维细胞抗原已经证实存在于人滑膜、乳腺、包皮和胸腺成纤维细胞以及恶性纤维肉瘤组织中。该抗原既与细胞膜又与溶酶体相关。
