Certain materials and designs are chosen for pipettes based on their ability to resist chemicals and withstand autoclaving. To benefit both you as a user and the environment, it is advantageous to prolong the lifespan of your pipette. This can be achieved through regular cleaning, inspection, maintenance, and the replacement of spare parts instead of buying new pipettes.
