General description

The Eppendorf twin.tec® PCR plate combines extremely thin-walled polypropylene wells for optimal heat transfer to the sample, with robust polycarbonate frames for high rigidity. With raised well rims, twin.tec® plates enable highly effective sealing to reduce the risk of cross-contamination. With twin.tec® PCR plates you’ll have maximum confidence in your results.

Application

Eppendorf® Twin tec PCR plates, 384 wells are suitable for use in:
  • Standard PCR
  • Real-time PCR
  • High throughput PCR
  • Small volume sample handling

Features and Benefits

  • Batch -tested and certified to be DNA, DNase, RNase, and PCR inhibitors free (PCR clean).
  • Specially optimized rim is suitable for barcodes and automated work processes.
  • The plates are stackable.
  • They adhere to the recommended SBS footprint standards.
  • These plates are ideal for a 384-well thermocycler, well-suited for the Eppendorf Mastercycler pro-384.
  • Maximum volume per well is 40 µL.
  • Upon request, the plates can be provided with barcodes, but this option is available only for skirted and semi-skirted variants.
