生化/生理作用
一种具有抗氧化属性的有机硒化合物。在不存在巯基的情况下抑制哺乳动物脂氧合酶,并通过与半胱氨酸残基的相互作用抑制谷胱甘肽 S-转移酶和木瓜蛋白酶。还可通过共价修饰半胱氨酸残基抑制吲哚胺 2,3-双加氧酶,该作用可被二硫苏糖醇逆转。其还可抑制低密度脂蛋白 (LDL) 的氧化。
