一般描述
鹰嘴豆芽素A(BCA)由间苯三酚在体外合成。Friedel-Crafts反应的一系列步骤得到中间产物1-(2,4,6-三羟基苯基)-2-(4甲氧基)苯基后乙酮,环化后得到BCA。摄入后被分解代谢为异黄酮染料木素。
应用
鹰嘴豆芽素 A 已被用于评估其对麦角胺(ERT)诱导的牛肠系膜脉管系统收缩力的影响。它可用于测试其在人类胶质母细胞瘤细胞系中的抗癌潜力。已在高效液相色谱-串联质谱法中采用参比标准品。
生化/生理作用
鹰嘴豆芽素 A 是在红三叶草 ( Trifolium pratense ) 中发现的一种异黄酮类植物雌激素,是ER-β雌激素受体的选择性激动剂,可能对乳腺癌有化学预防作用。与它对ER-α雌激素受体的低活性一致,它基本上没有子宫营养活性。鹰嘴豆芽素也是一种芳香烃受体(AhR)的配体。它可能通过作用于钾和/或钙离子通道,降低动脉阻力并增强微循环。诱导硫酸转移酶对外来生物的解毒作用被认为是其防癌作用的机制之一。
