生化/生理作用
超氧阴离子 (O2-) 是一种短寿命自由基,通过氧分子上增加一个电子而产生。超氧阴离子的形成是对环境因素,如紫外光、香烟烟雾、环境污染物和γ射线等的响应,或由黄嘌呤氧化酶或NADPH氧化酶等氧化酶催化而产生。一旦形成, O2- 可攻击细胞租房引起脂质、蛋白质和DNA的损伤。它能引发多种疾病,包括癌症、动脉粥样硬化、类风湿关节炎、糖尿病、肝功能损伤,中枢神经系统紊乱。
