Generic barcoded Corning 1536 well microplates are now available. Code 128 bar code format ensures compatibility with most bar code scanning and software systems. To avoid mix-ups, the surface treatment of the microplate wells is easily identified in the human readable portion of the bar code.

- Resistant to temperature ranges of -80ºC to +52ºC
- 2.8 mm distance between well bottoms to plate bottom
- Suitable primarily for the immobilization of large molecules, such as antibodies, that have large hydrophobic regions that can interact with the surface
Microplate Features
- Excellent signal dynamic range due to low background fluorescence and enhanced signal intensity
- Superior flatness -minimizes variability within a plate and between plates
- Flat bottom wells are compatible with automated dispensers
- Not treated (or medium binding) polystyrene surface is hydrophobic in nature and binds biomolecules through passive interactions.
- Suitable primarily for the immobilization of large molecules, such as antibodies, that have large hydrophobic regions that can interact with the surface (binding capacity of approximately 100 to 200ng IgG/cm²)
