Biochem/physiol Actions
羧肽酶 G 是溶酶体，巯基依赖性蛋白酶，其逐渐切割 γ-谷氨酰蝶酰多聚-γ-谷氨酸，产生蝶酰-α-谷氨酸（叶酸）和游离谷氨酸。它被认为对 γ-谷氨酰基键具有高度特异性，但对于离去基团的 C-末端氨基酸则不具有高度特异性。该同型二聚体的分子量约为 90kDa。酶被 Zn2+ 离子激活。
