Biochem/physiol Actions
胶质纤维酸性蛋白(GFAP)在多种与神经胶质有关的颅内肿瘤中表达,例如星形细胞瘤,并且在室管膜瘤、成神经管细胞瘤、脉络丛乳头状瘤、神经节胶质瘤、混合性胶质瘤、血管母细胞瘤、松果体细胞瘤、松果体母细胞瘤、垂体腺瘤、 视网膜母细胞瘤、少突神经胶质瘤中有不同程度的表达,在外周神经鞘膜瘤(雪旺细胞瘤和神经纤维瘤)中少量表达。它也可能存在于多形性腺瘤、卵巢和睾丸畸胎瘤中。

General description
