生化/生理作用

凝胶多糖在食品工业中=用作食品添加剂。它可以提高羟基磷灰石/壳聚糖支架的弹性，降低了易脆性，有助于骨再生。
热凝胶多糖是一种（1,3）-β-葡聚糖。它是由受体dectin-1识别的病原体相关分子模式（PAMP）。激活的dectin-1与TLR2/TLR6一起可促进信号传导，导致促炎细胞因子的产生，从而诱导炎症。

制备说明

对于70℃条件下的凝胶化，氢氧化钠的浓度应为0.01M。
This product is tested for solubility in 0.1N sodium hydroxide at a concentration of 9.8 - 10.2 mg/mL. Heating and/or sonication are typically required for solubilization. This product is not sterile. For use in cell culture, stock solutions should be filter sterilized prior to use.

    We do not test to confirm that C7821, Curdlan, has (1,3)-β-glucan linkages on a lot to lot basis. However, we have verified product authenticity in the past. Our manufacturing procedure is reported in literature as yielding Curdlan. In addition, C13-NMR, chromatography, and IR analyses results compared to literature and commercial control product proved that product is a (1,3)-β glucan polymer.
