生化/生理作用
钙蛋白酶 1 是含有 EF 手基序的中性钙依赖性半胱氨酸蛋白酶。蛋白酶由两个亚基组成;较大的亚基具有四个与木瓜蛋白酶和钙调蛋白同源的结构域。较小的亚基具有一个与钙调蛋白具有同源性的结构域。它被微摩尔水平的钙激活,因此也被称为微钙蛋白酶。它的激活导致细胞蛋白降解、神经元细胞变性和自身免疫性脱髓鞘疾病,例如多发性硬化。
