一般描述

MYC（MYC原致肿瘤基因）是一种转录因子和癌蛋白。它位于染色体8q24。c-Myc基因编码碱性螺旋-环-螺旋/亮氨酸拉链（bHLH/LZ）转录因子。
抗-c-Myc抗体用于检测c-Myc标记融合蛋白的c-Myc标记序列。这一多克隆抗体在兔子体内产生，识别在N末端和C末端的c-Myc序列。C3956是一种亲和纯化抗体，在大多数应用中增强灵敏度。

特异性

c-Myc (Glu-Gln-Lys-Leu-Ile-Ser-Glu-Glu-Asp-Leu)标记融合蛋白N末端或C末端。

免疫原

人c-myc原致肿瘤基因的肽链对应氨基酸408-425，通过C-末端加成半胱氨酸残基和马来酰亚胺-激活KLH偶联。

应用

抗-c-Myc抗体可以用于western印迹分析 和化学发光检测。
抗体可以用于免疫印迹，免疫沉淀和免疫荧光。

生化/生理作用

MYC（MYC原致肿瘤基因）对于癌症起始，发展和对治疗抵抗性是很重要的。DLBCL（弥漫性大B细胞淋巴瘤）中MYC过表达导致使用利妥昔单抗联合环磷酰胺，阿霉素，长春新碱和强的松（R-CHOP）进行侵入性治疗时效果很差。细胞髓细胞组织增生（c-myc）肿瘤基因在细胞增生，分化和凋亡中有重要作用。它可用作基因表达的转录调控因子。

外形
