应用

生化/生理作用

甜菜碱盐酸盐可降低乙醇刺激引起的肝毒性。[1]
胆碱的氧化代谢的终产物,甜菜碱是一般的甲基供体,特别是在甲硫氨酸生物合成的次要途径中。它用于治疗高胱氨酸尿症,这是甲硫氨酸生物合成的主要途径中的缺陷。[4]
