Histone cluster 1, H1c (HIST1H1C) is the H1C variant of histone 1 that is differentially expressed by cells.

Anti-HIST1H1C polyclonal antibody is used to tag the H1c variant of histone 1 for detection and quantitation by Western blotting and in plasma by immunohistochemical (IHC) techniques. It is used as a probe to determine the differential expression of histone 1, H1c versus other histone 1 proteins during cell differentiation.
