Biochem/physiol Actions

General description

γ-肌动蛋白主要存在于正常肌肉的肌膜而较少存在于网状结构中。γ-肌动蛋白水平的增加与肌营养不良蛋白的丢失、后续的细胞信号转导以及基因表达缺陷有关。
抗-γ-肌动蛋白单克隆抗体（小鼠IgG1同种型）是由小鼠骨髓瘤细胞（NS1）和来自BALB /c小鼠的脾细胞融合产生的2-2.1.14.17杂交瘤生成的。肌动蛋白是最保守的真核蛋白之一，在哺乳动物鸟类中至少表达6种异构体。肌动蛋白异构体显示出超过90%的整体序列同源性，但在其18个NH2-末端残基中只有50-60%的同源性。肌动蛋白组成了约15%的总蛋白。它以球状和丝状的形式存在。
