Application

Biochem/physiol Actions

General description

琼脂含有琼脂糖和琼脂果胶,其中琼脂糖是主要的胶凝杂多糖。琼脂糖含有β-d-半乳糖和3,6-脱水-α-L-半乳糖,通过名为新琼脂糖的糖苷键β(1-4)连接。其中還含有具有相同双糖单元及α(1-3)连接的琼脂二糖。琼脂的主要来源是红藻科的海藻细胞壁。
