三磷酸核苷和二磷酸核苷的水解酶。对于有机二磷酸和三磷酸的水解,最适 pH 为 6,对于无机底物,最适 pH 为 5.1 。该酶已被用于评估 ATP 参与肠道固有层 Th17 细胞分化的可能性。
不同种类的马铃薯(S. tuberosum)中存在至少2种同工酶:一种的ATP酶/ADP酶比例较高(∼10)和另一种较低(∼1)。
反应:ATP → ADP+Pi → AMP+2Pi。

生化/生理作用
在所有的真核生物和一些原核生物中都存在着这种酶。来自马铃薯的三磷酸腺苷双磷酸酶,对生长发育具有至关重要的调节作用。在神经刺激后,作为神经递质参与突触 ATP 的失活,并抑制 ADP 诱导的血小板聚集以防止血栓形成。活性需要二价金属离子,钙离子在 5 mm 时活性最好,发现蛋白分子量约为 45 kDa。
