一般描述
小鼠单克隆抗AKR1C3抗体，抗体（人α-羟基类固醇脱氢酶，2,3； 17β-羟基类固醇脱氢酶，5型）（小鼠IgG1同种型）来源于NP6.G6杂交瘤。A6 是由小鼠骨髓瘤细胞（SP20细胞）和人AKR1C3 蛋白免疫的 BALB/C 小鼠脾细胞融合产生的。天然和外源底物的氧化还原反应在三种酶超家族的作用下进行，其中一种是AKR（醛酮还原酶）家族。该酶家族包含在原核生物和真核生物中表达的114种蛋白质，并分为14个亚家族（AKR1-AKR14）。AKR1家族是14个不同家族中最大的一个，包含醛糖还原酶、醛还原酶、羟类固醇脱氢酶和类固醇5β-还原酶。AKR1C在许多组织中表达。

应用

小鼠单克隆 NP6.G6.A6 抗 AKR1C3 抗体，可用于标记醛酮还原酶 1C3，以通过免疫细胞化学和免疫组织化学 (IHC) 技术进行检测和定量。它可用作探针以确定醛酮还原酶 1C3 在雄激素 5 α-二氢睾酮 (DHT) 和 3α-二醇化合物的体内水平调节中的存在和作用。

生化/生理作用
在人类中，包括AKR1C1、2和4的AKR1C3（醛酮还原酶家族1成员C3）是催化雄性激素5α-二氢睾酮（DHT）还原为无活性的3β或3α-雄甾烷二醇（3α / β-Diol）的催化剂。在体外，AKR1C1-4同种型还具有3 α[17β]-羟基类固醇氧化酶活性，其以3α-二醇为底物。 在非小细胞肺癌中，AKR1C表达显著增加。 由于具有独特的产物特征和分散的组织定位，它们可以调节靶组织中活性雄激素、雌激素和孕激素的水平。
