一般描述
丙烯酰胺是色氨酸荧光的猝灭剂。丙烯酰胺与双丙烯酰胺交联形成聚丙烯酰胺凝胶,可用于分离蛋白质和其他生物分子。双丙烯酰胺是交联所必需的,而单体聚合需要丙烯酰胺。在电泳过程中,丙烯酰胺使半胱氨酸的SH基和蛋白质的ε-NH2赖氨酸残基烷基化。
