General description

70kDa过氧化物酶体膜蛋白(PMP70)是过氧化物酶体膜的主要组分。过氧化物酶体是真核细胞中的多功能单层膜细胞器。PMP70属于ATP结合盒(ABC)转运体超家族成员。

Immunogen

KLH标记的对应于大鼠PMP70氨基酸残基644-659、N末端添加半胱氨酸的合成肽。相应的序列在小鼠中相同，在人中相差1个氨基酸。

Biochem/physiol Actions

PMP70参与长链和超长链脂肪酸进入过氧化物酶体的代谢转运。PMP70与肾上腺脑白质营养不良蛋白(ALDP)和其他几种过氧化物酶体蛋白作用形成稳定的复合体。PMP70和ALDL通过介导ATP结合/水解及两者自身磷酸化参与调节脂肪酸转运进入过氧化物酶体。PMP70(PXMP1)基因突变可能导致Zellweger综合征-2和常染色体隐性遗传病，病理特征为过氧化物酶体基质酶的内向转运机制缺陷。

Physical form

溶于0.01 M磷酸盐缓冲液（pH 7.4）中，含有15 mM叠氮化钠。
