生化/生理作用

3-吲哚丁酸(IBA)是一种天然存在的植物激素生长素(植物生长调节剂)。它能促进扦插中的根形成,但不影响乙烯水平。IBA可作为通过β氧化途径产生3-吲哚乙酸(IAA)的前体。IBA存在于玉米(Zea mays)、豌豆(Pisum sativum)和拟南芥(Arabidopsis)等植物中。IBA比IAA具有更强的根形成诱导作用。
