应用

β-桉叶醇用于:
  • 作为一种治疗方法测试其抗氧化、抗炎、细胞保存对人真皮成纤维细胞(HDF)的作用
  • 作为参考标准品,通过气相色谱-质谱分析(GC/MS)研究代谢工程大肠肝菌提取的萜类合成酶(Tps)基因是否编码β-桉叶醇合成酶
  • 测试单纯疱疹病毒 I 型(HSV-1)的抗病毒效果
  • 测试其对可卡因诱导的真涡虫行为的逆转作用

生化/生理作用

β-桉叶醇具有很多药理作用,是存在于许多精油中的有效成分,具有抗氧化性、抗菌活性等特征。β-桉叶醇在毛豹皮樟树叶精油台湾杉树枝精油中分别表现出抗真菌活性和抗木材腐烂真菌活性。它能抑制肿瘤细胞的增殖、生长和人肿瘤细胞的迁移。β-桉叶醇对神经系统有多种保护作用。
