一般描述

藏红花素(CR)是一种水溶性类胡萝卜素,存在于栀子花和藏红花( Crocus sativus)中。它的结构中有两个 D-龙胆苷糖基酯。CR 是藏红花中主要的生物活性化合物之一,也是藏红花呈现红色的原因。

应用

藏红花素已用于:
  • 作为参比标准品,采用高效液相色谱法检测藏红花提取物中其含量
  • 研究它作为抗氧化和抗炎剂对阿霉素引起的大鼠肾毒性的保护作用
  • 在 SiHa 细胞和雌性 BALB/c 裸鼠上检测其抗肿瘤作用及其促进自噬和凋亡、抑制宫颈癌进展的作用
  • 作为顺铂联合治疗,观察其对顺铂(CIS)引起的大鼠睾丸毒性的保护作用

生化/生理作用

藏红花素具有抗氧化、抗炎症、抗癌、抗变性和抗糖尿病的特性。
藏红花素可缓解乙醇诱导的学习障碍,并阻止乙醇诱导的海马长时程增强 (LTP) 抑制,LTP 是一种可能影响学习和记忆的活性依赖性突触可塑性形式。相关的 CNS 效应是二基因二糖酯特有的;西红花酸葡萄糖龙胆二糖酯的效力是二分之一,二葡萄糖酯则完全没有作用。
