Recombinant mouse IgG is a novel, sustainable replacement to serum-derived mouse IgG, providing manufacturers and reserachers a tightly-controlled, non-animal derived blocking solution to efficiently reduce nonspecific antibody interference in diagnostic assays while improving lot reproducibility and test accuracy, yet simplifying import regulations.
The recombinant mouse IgG is offered in two unique blends providing different formulations to select from and optimize for best performance results within a specific immunoassay. The formulas are designed to deliver equivalent or better blocking efficiency compared to serum-derived mouse IgG. This B1 recombinant mouse IgG was developed as a blocking reagent to passively bind human anti-mouse antibodies present in certain serum/plasma samples and reduce non-specific binding in an immunoassay system using capture and detection antibodies.
