Methyl nicotinate EP Reference standard, intended for use in laboratory tests only as specifically prescribed in the European Pharmacopoeia.
General description
Methyl nicotinate is a potent vasodilatory drug capable of transdermal penetration. It is known to elicit distinctive erythema through the production of prostaglandin D2(PGD2) and beneficial for the treatment of respiratory, vascular and rheumatoid disorders.
