General description

Erythrulose is generally used as a tanning agent in the cosmetics industry and is a source of chiral ethyl ketones used in aldol reaction organic synthesis. Red raspberries are a natural source of erythrulose. It is often used in combination of dihydroxyacetone to impart attractive tanning properties to the skin.
Pharmaceutical secondary standards for application in quality control, provide pharma laboratories and manufacturers with a convenient and cost-effective alternative to the preparation of in-house working standards.
