General description
The UGT Reaction Mix comprises two solutions : Solutions A and B. They are sold separately. Solution A includes 25 mM UDPGA, (uridine diphosphate-glucuronic acid) an essential UGT enzyme cofactor. A combination of the two solution serves as a reagent for glucuronidation by microtomes, S9 and recombinant UGT enzymes.
The Corning UGT Reaction Mix is optimized to use with Corning recombinant enzymes and liver microsomes and S9 products. About 200 to 400 enzyme assays can be performed using each system, depending on experimental design.
