General description
牛血清白蛋白是一种大分子量蛋白质，约占乳清蛋白总量的10%。它是必需氨基酸来源，还是牛奶中含量第三丰富的乳清蛋白。BSA可生物降解、具有生物相容、无毒且无免疫原性。
Application
牛血清白蛋白溶液已用于：
- 用作Opti-最低必需培养基(MEM)成分，用作转染培养基，研究白蛋白对转染效率的影响
- 用作0.1% Tween-20/PBS (PBST)成分，稀释一抗孵育细胞
- 孵育羟基磷灰石(HA)以便进行体外研究
Biochem/physiol Actions
牛血清白蛋白能够结合游离脂肪酸、其他脂质和风味化合物。BSA价格低廉、耐受性强且易于制备，广泛用于药物递送。BSA 可用作胶体递送系统。由于其价格低廉、易于纯化且具有水溶性，在纳米颗粒基质方面也颇具吸引力。BSA分子中具有药物结合位点，因此BSA纳米颗粒可荷载多种药物和生物活性化合物。
